Installation

Step by Step

Test-Fit Dry

Hold the piece in place and mark its outline. Check it against adjacent ornament for alignment.

Prep Both Surfaces

Sand the mounting surface lightly and wipe the back of the carving. Clean wood glues; dusty wood doesn't.

Attach to the Cabinet

Screw through the cabinet base or face frame into the piece, or use the supplied mounting hardware. Glue the joint for a permanent hold.

Fill & Finish

Fill pin holes with matching filler, sand flush, and stain or paint with the surrounding work. For stain, sample on the back first — species and carved grain take color differently.
